B&R provides pre-configured software modules that make robotics functions even more accessible and robotics applications even easier to create. B&R's mapp Robotics includes standard functions for control and commissioning as well as advanced functions such as feed-forward control, compressor and workspace monitoring. The user can implement complex and highly dynamic applications without having to write countless lines of code.
Seamless links between mapp Robotics and other mapp components like those for user management, alarms and web-based HMI help to shorten development times dramatically. Even safe robotics applications are easy and straightforward to implement.
Configuring instead of programming
With mapp Pick&Place, machine builders can now implement pick-and-place applications much more easily. The system not only controls the robot itself, but also coordinates it with other axes, conveyor belts or smart tracks. The pick-and-place process solution makes machines faster, more flexible and more efficient.
The user has maximum freedom in process design. Any number of Delta, Articulated and Scara robots can be used. In addition, the software automatically optimizes the process according to the application manufacturer's requirements. Options include the shortest possible removal times, first-in-first-out or energy-optimized motion profiles. Coordination with other axes, the B&R vision system or the web-based mapp View visualization can be set up with just a few clicks. This eliminates much of the manual programming work and reduces development time.
