The Automation Device Interface allows access to specific functions of B&R devices. The settings of this device can be read out and changed using the B&R Control Center applet in the Control Panel.

With the ADI Development Kit, functions of the B&R Automation Device Interface (ADI) can be accessed from Windows applications that were created with the following development environments, for example:

- Microsoft Embedded Visual C++ 4.0
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 (or later)
