SPS 2024: Our highlights in pictures
From 12 to 14 November 2024, the SPS in Nuremberg, Germany, opened its doors to visitors from all over the world. With over 1,200 exhibitors, around 50,000 visitors and 16 exhibition halls, the event once again set new standards in automation technology.
A central theme for B&R at this year's show was the integration of artificial intelligence into production processes to achieve greater efficiency and flexibility. We connect people, platforms and products in order to jointly seize opportunities and achieve success.

Inspiring conversations and valuable exchanges
For three days, the 150 B&R experts at the booth had the opportunity to hold many valuable discussions with customers and interested parties, make new contacts, exchange ideas and shape the future of automation together.

Live demos
With 20 live demos and insights into more than 500 products and solutions, we were able to demonstrate the diversity and innovative power of our technologies.
A highlight at SPS was the Cable Robot, which demonstrated the future of industrial automation: OPC UA FX and IIoT were used to demonstrate manufacturer-independent, synchronous communication and open data access with built-in security. Visitors were able to experience the innovative combination of Codian robot mechanics and B&R software for more efficient pick-and-place processes live. Zebra Engineering, a B&R Value Provider Partner, presented the Trak 360, a highly efficient rotary indexing table with variable product transport. It is particularly suitable for the diverse requirements of packaging, testing and assembly companies that produce in small batch sizes– and ABB's YuMi® cobot acted as a barista, serving coffee to visitors.
